The Minnesota Vikings may have gotten the steal of the 2008 NFL draft when they picked up standout USC quarterback John David Booty in the fifth round.
JD Booty, according to the LA Times, was hoping to be drafted by the Vikings, and so both he and the team are very pleased. Had he not broken his finger on his passing hand midway through the last season, there is a good possibility that USC would have gone undefeated and had the chance for the national title, and JD would have been a Heisman candidate.
The Vikings were wise to draft him, and the Bears were foolish to let him pass when they had the chance to get him.

5th Round QBs can rock - the Baltimore Ravens are likely to be starting a 2nd year 5th round QB during some point of this season. You may have heard of the guy - one Troy Smith. He won this little thing called the Heisman a while back.
NFL Scouts - they blow this position far too often. Anyone in Cinci want to rethink Akili Smith? Anyone in San Diego remember Ryan Leaf? Yeah. Plenty more where those came from, too. U.G.L.Y.
